Wigan Athletic manager Paul Cook says his side are a “work in progress” as they were held to a 0-0 draw by Barnsley at the DW Stadium on Saturday.

The Latics were denied by a superb late save from Barnsley’s Brad Davies,earlier, David Marshall have produced a fine double save to deny Barnsley duo Mike Bahre and Luke Thomas.

Late on, the visitors had Ben Williams sent off for a late challenge on Latics substitute Lee Evans.
