National homewares retailer Dunelm has announced they will hire an additional 85 local colleagues at their state-of-the-art Customer Service Centre in Radcliffe.
Dunelm, which started on a Leicester market stall in 1979, has an estate of over 160 stores across the UK and at dunelm.com.
The recruitment drive follows the company’s acquisition of the WorldStores group in February this year. The group which includes the Kiddicare, Achica and WorldStores brands will double the size of the Dunelm’s online offering to customers.
The 85 new Customer Service Advisor roles offer potential candidates the opportunity to work across social media, voice and non-voice departments, as well as the chance to gain an NVQ qualification in Customer Service.
Over the coming months the Customer Service Centre, located at the back of Dunelm’s Radcliffe store on Green Street, will host open days to allow prospective candidates to get a feel for the company’s culture.
Philip Cochrane Head of Contact Centre at Dunelm said:
“We’re looking for motivated individuals that are passionate about providing a great service to our customers. Having a background in Customer Service isn’t essential, our in-house Learning and Development team will provide candidates with training and support to develop their confidence and communication skills.
“We’re really excited to be growing the team here at the Customer Service Centre. We have recently refurbished the office and upgraded our systems with the latest technology to provide our colleagues with a great working environment. I look forward to welcoming new colleagues to the Dunelm family.”
