Dunelm, the UK’s leading homewares retailer, are recruiting for 30 new jobs at their
Customer Service Centre in Radcliffe in a move to expand the current team of 80 colleagues.

The Customer Service Centre that is based below the Radcliffe store, is responsible for
supporting the 30 million customers per year who choose to shop with Dunelm either in
store or online.

The team handles around 700,00 customer interactions a year with around 60% of these
customers calling and 40% emailing or using other channels.

In addition to Dunelm customers, the Customer Service Centre now supports customers
from other members of the Dunelm family: Kiddicare, Achica and Worldstores.

Head of Contact Centre at Dunelm, Philip Cochrane said: “We’re looking for enthusiastic and
friendly individuals that are passionate about providing a great service to our customers.
We’re really excited to be growing the team here at the Customer Service Centre and I look
forward to welcoming new colleagues to the Dunelm family.”

Dunelm was founded in 1979 as a market stall business, selling ready-made curtains.
Since opening their first store in Leicester in 1984, the company has expanded across the
country making it the UK’s largest homewares retailer with over 165 stores and employing
over 9000 colleagues nationwide.
