Police found and seized 291 large nitrous oxide canisters which are Class C drugs, along with a cache of weapons from a commercial premises on Dane Street in Rochdale this morning
The weapons included a crossbow, 13 baseball bats, a hockey stick and 7 knuckle dusters. Alongside 7 Nokia burner phones, ballistic body armour and cannabis grinders.
No arrests have been made at this stage, and the investigation remains active. Detectives are working to trace the owner of the business and their associates.
Police Sergeant, Daniel Shirazi, said: “This operation demonstrates just how effective warrants are in disrupting criminal activity.
“By acting on intelligence and executing targeted searches, we can remove harmful substances and dangerous weapons from circulation before they can be used to cause harm.
“The seized items will undergo forensic examination.
“The proprietor of the business remains outstanding, and enquiries are ongoing to locate and arrest these individuals
“Public safety is our priority, and we will continue to act decisively against those who pose a risk to our communities.”
