A Hollingworth man who was found serving coke instead of pizza after officers discovered over £250k worth of drugs and cutting agent in pizza boxes has been jailed for over eight years.

Two days before Christmas last year officers searched addresses on Market Street, Hollingworth, and seized a substantial amount of cocaine, ketamine and cash.

Simon Tennant, aged 40 of Market Street, Hollingworth, was jailed for eight and a half years on Friday (2 July 2021) at Minshull Street Crown Court after pleading guilty to possession with intent to supply cocaine, possession with intent to supply ketamine and possession of criminal property.

Detective Constable Jake Orr, of GMP’s Tameside Challenger Team, said: “This is all part of our on-going commitment to tackling drugs and the distribution of them across Greater Manchester and clearly this find was a substantial one.

“Tennant was clearly making a profit from the desperation of those who become reliant on class A drugs and we will continue to do all we can to remove offenders such as Tennant from our towns and cities.
