Police have confirmed that a 62 year old driver was killed after a crash on the M60 in the early hours of this morning
A single vehicle, described as a gold Renault, is believed to have entered the motorway at Junction 8 and then collided with the central reservation according to reports
The M60 remains closed clockwise between Junction 6/9 while investigation work continues
