Taking inspiration from ‘Miracle on 34th Street’, Trafford Palazzo at Trafford City is excited to announce the return of Christmas on TP Street with festive fun running from 2nd to 24th December. Trafford Palazzo has something for all ages to create a magical Christmas; expect live music, themed performers, winter crafts plus a cosy tipi to unwind. What’s better, it’s all completely free!

To start the festivities there will be a grand opening party on Saturday 2nd December. Visitors will be treated to performances from the Candy Cane duo, festive face painting and a Christmas DJ. On Sunday 3rd December Born to Be Wild Child will host a crafts club where children can create their own letters to Santa.

The Cheeky Elves Behaving Badly are returning for another year and will visit Christmas on TP Street on Saturday 9th December. They’ll be joined by roller skating Reindeer and a musical performance from ARCEU5, a band formed by five school friends – expect a track list of classic rock songs alongside a couple of festive hits.

On Sunday 10th December Our Kids Social will be hosting an ‘Eco Elf’ Christmas card and ornament making workshop. The session will encourage kids to get creative as they use recycled paper and collage to create Christmas cards, they’ll also create Christmas decorations and ornaments using natural foliage.

Our Kids Social will host a Silent Disco and Christmas takeover for all families to enjoy on Saturday 16th December. Join the Elves for their annual Christmas disco party but everyone must be quiet and not wake Santa who is having his big nap before the 25th! Expect a snow machine, elves on stilts, games and Christmas dress up this is a Christmas party not to be missed, Elf fancy dress is optional!

On Sunday 17th December, crafts continue as little ones get creative in a Christmas cookie decoration workshop hosted by Born to Be Wild Child. Those visiting can expect to hear Christmas classics in a whole new way as the award-winning national phenomenon, Live Rock Choir host an exclusive performance.

During the final week of Christmas on TP Street, Our Kids Social will host a second ‘Eco Elf’ workshop as they prepare the ultimate Christmas Eve pack complete with a nice list certificate. Born to Be Wild Child will host a Christmas party on Tuesday 19th December – encouraging everyone to get in the festive spirit!

As well as festive food and drink stalls with a winter twist, the alpine-themed tipi with cosy heated seating will be central to the Christmas cheer. There will also be immersive TP Street cinema evenings showing family favourite Christmas films on Friday 8th, 15th and Tuesday 19th December.

On top of all the activities at TP Street, families can visit the newly opened Nerf Action Xperience entertainment centre which offers fun for everyone over the festive break. There is also the option to book for larger parties and corporate groups. Families can then head next door to popular food venue Archies for their winter-warmer waffles or a hot drink for just £1.49.

Those looking to get into the holiday spirit can visit the crown jewels of bowling, King Pins. The new King Pins offers fun Christmas party ideas for groups of friends or colleagues. Packages include a game of Ten Pin bowling, arcade vouchers, karaoke plus drinks vouchers and a Christmas buffet from Ply and Wings of Power. Prices start from £40 per person and can be booked here.

Visitors to SEA LIFE Manchester can meet Snowy the Snowman and join him on his adventure to the Arctic. With magical Christmas theming running throughout the aquarium from 25 November to 5 January, children can take on the Arctic themed trail, discover an array of incredible creatures and take photos with festive backdrops. Visitors are also invited to LEGOLAND® where there will be festive-themed activities available on weekends and holidays between 25 November to 3 January. Children can take part in a scavenger hunt in the winter wonderland MINILAND®, rock around the LEGO Christmas tree at the pop-up dance parties with fun mascots and build a cool LEGO decoration. Guests can upgrade their ticket to meet Santa for just £5 on selected dates here.

For a break in between shopping, EL&N will be celebrating the season of sweetness with a new menu featuring a limited-edition Cinnamon Bun White Hot Chocolate and Baked Truffle & Honey Camembert – ‘tis the season to indulge!
