Police investigating a sexual assault on a woman that took place in Bury back in February have released an image of a person they would like to speak to
In September 2020, a man – who officers want to speak with – was captured on CCTV.
Detective Inspector Andrew Naismith, of GMP’s Bury district, said: “As soon as we received this report in February 2020, we launched an investigation to establish the full circumstances.
“Enquiries were ongoing when we received CCTV of a man who we want to speak with.
“Since receiving this CCTV, we have exhausted a number of options to identify the man shown and we are now appealing for him or anyone who knows who he is to contact us or Crimestoppers.”
