Steeped in Manchester history, this 3-floor former bank provides the perfect backdrop for exhibiting the best of the rainy city’s creative talent, from artists to photographers to furniture makers.

Shoppers get the unique chance to roam this fabulous building, which still retains many of its original decadent features, hinting at its illustrious past.

Expect collections of quirky yet quality furniture pieces from bespoke furniture brand Den Living, all handcrafted with love at their historic cotton mill in Bury. Collections of walkout items from brands such as RV Astley, Premier, Gallery, Coachhouse, and Andrew Martin will also entice interior lovers, along with the latest collection samples from high-end fabric brands Sanderson and Warwick.

Bringing modern-day visuals to this age-old building, Manchester’s most famed artists have adorned the walls with curated collections of exclusive canvases and prints.

Exhibiting on the ground floor at Den Pops Up is acclaimed artist Amy Coney, known for her Bee Live in MCR artwork signed by A-listers The Rolling Stones, Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift and the Gallagher brothers.

Famed artist Jamie Green, the winner of Sky’s Portrait Artist of the Year, has an exclusive collection of eclectic homeware on show and available to purchase.

On Tuesday, browsers can enjoy a fusion of music and art through the sounds of an orchestral rendition of Stevie Wonder’s classic album ‘Songs In The Key Of Life’. Manchester’s Untold Orchestra along with a talented group of vocalists that includes
DJ Jenna G, will take over the second floor of this iconic building for a socially distanced rehearsal, gearing up for a gig at Manchester’s Albert Hall on Friday 16th July 2021.

Also launching on the second floor on Tuesday 6th July is contemporary art specialists Egoiste Gallery. This exciting exhibition will showcase work from the gallery’s portfolio of acclaimed artists which includes famed illustrator Stan Chou, who created the branding and marketing materials for Untold Orchestra’s Stevie Wonder show.

Renowned DJ Jason Herd of 2Risque fame will also be indulging socially distanced shoppers on the ground floor with a live funky disco set ahead of his Bohemian Disco Festival at Tatton Park, taking place Saturday 31st July, 2021.

Den Pops Up is based at the former Jack Wills, opposite El Gato restaurant and will run until 25th August 25th 2021.
