There’s just 50 days to go until Manchester Originals and The Hundred return to the iconic Emirates Old Trafford, bringing another unmissable season of cricket and music entertainment.

The Hundred boasts a formidable reputation for providing audiences of all ages with an exhilarating day out in the summer – fusing world-class cricket with blockbuster entertainment from up-and-coming music acts to create an electric atmosphere.

Combining a short, fast form of cricket, the concept of The Hundred is simple: 100 balls per team, most runs win. Each game lasts less than three hours and every ball counts.

Some of the best players in the world will be on show this year with Jos Buttler and Sophie Ecclestone returning to Manchester alongside overseas superstars Amelia Kerr and Noor Ahmad who were picked in The Hundred draft in March.

Amplifying the atmosphere of the tournament, the games will feature a performance from some of BBC Introducing’s most exciting music acts. Previous headline performers have included Manchester-based chart-topping indie-pop band Lottery Winners with this year’s line-up set to be released later this week!

The early bird ticket deadline is fast approaching – ending on 1 July. Under 16s tickets are just £5 and adults start at £17 making in affordable day out for the whole family. Under 3s also go free of charge.

Tickets are selling fast for the much anticipated derby match against Northern Superchargers which has sold out the past four seasons as Harry Brook and Jos Buttler go head-to-head.

You can get your tickets now at thehundred.com/tickets.
