The new window display, The Secret Garden, has been designed and created by textile and wallpaper design experts, Creative Journey.
Founded by husband and wife team, Kevin and Jemma Lewis, the team at Creative Journey are launching their very own wallpaper range, sourced from archives and a personal collection of historical designs – having supplied big brands with designs for years.
The collaboration with Creative Journey is the next instalment of, Watch this Space, a collaboration between Great Northern Warehouse and Dez Rez Projects to spotlight artists and creative businesses working in Greater Manchester.
As the first window display of the year, the enchanting garden is features colourful textures and styles to encourage customers to bring the outside – in this January.
Mark Schofield, Centre Director for The Great Northern, said, “At Great Northern, we’re delighted to reveal this beautiful, botanical window display designed by the husband-and-wife powerhouse that is Creative Journey.”
Jemma Lewis, CEO at Creative Journey added, “With us being the first window installation to kick off the new year, we wanted to take the opportunity to display products that are bright and cheerful, bring joy to passers-by and draw attention to some of our most dramatic designs.
It has been a long desire to create our own products, and so we are delighted to be launching this, our very first collection of twelve wallpapers here in Manchester. We are really excited about the possibilities contained within our huge back catalogue of designs, and archive of historic artwork that we can utilise for future ranges.”
