Ikechukwu Nzeribe aged 46 of Clarendon Road, Whalley Range is prohibited from approaching women in public to show them inappropriate images or take similar images of them for seven years across England and Wales.
PC Scott Schofield, of GMP’s City of Manchester Team, said: “Nzeribe targeted lone women, mostly students, around university campuses, halls of residence and the city centre.
“He took inappropriate photographs of them, pretending that they were for an art project, but really they were for nothing more than his own sexual gratification.
“Many community members have raised concerns about Nzeribe over the years and I hope this result makes it clear that this kind of behaviour will not be tolerated.”
