Local business and Northern Soul Award finalist, Worker Bee Markets will expand into Manchester over the next two months, whilst keeping its Stockport roots happy too.

Invited by global property management company CBRE to run events in Didsbury as part of a Family Fun Day and in Manchester City Centre to complement Manchester Ice Rink at First Street, Clare Simpson, founder and curator of Worker Bee Markets, is looking forward to this new challenge.

“There are lots of Markets around the city region in November and December, so we’re proud that Worker Bee Markets offer something unique, reflecting the Manchester Soul and lust for life.”

She went on to say: “The most important feedback we’ve had this year from our events in Bramhall, Heald Green and Gatley – all Stockport suburbs – is that Worker Bee traders are friendly, great quality and mainly local to the area. I’m excited to bring quality, handmade MANCMADE crafts, gifts, decorations and food treats to the centre of the city and am committed to keeping stall prices low so these small businesses can afford it.”

Find the Christmas Worker Bee Markets in Heald Green at Nixon’s Farm Shop on 18 November, in Bramhall at the Scout Hut on Linney Road on 16 December, in Didsbury at Towers Business Park on 6 December and at First Street Manchester on 5, 12 and 19 December. Traders have been hand-picked for each event, meaning there will be some new and some regulars at each one.

Local charities and community groups also benefit from the exposure to these successful events, with Francis House, Cheshire Wildlife Trust and Wilmslow Girls School charity collection having a free stalls at upcoming events.
