Cheshire’s Beeston Castle is one of six English Heritage sites that will be opening up from this weekend.

English Heritage says it will reopen the first phase of its sites, with a significant number of further sites reopening in early July.

They hope to have all sites open again by August.

Visitors including members will have to book in advance to enter the sites which also include Battle Abbey and Battlefield in Sussex,Broadsworth Hall and Gardens in South Yorkshire, Kenilworth Gardens In Warwickshire,Old Sarum in Wiltshire and Wrest in Bedfordshire
