The coronavirus outbreak has spread throughout the whole world. The novel virus, which was first discovered in Wuhan, China on the 31st of December 2019, now has gone viral. The virus has infected more than 400,000 people all over the world and the number is increasing day by day. The World Health Organization titled the massive Covid-19 epidemic as the pandemic. Every country separately and the whole world together is trying to fight the virus.

Many countries all over the world have been affected by the virus. The healthcare sector is only one in the huge list of the industries that are affected by the outbreak. The industries such as transportation, tourism, restaurants, bars, cafes, clubs, gambling are in that long list as well. Many businesses, unlike casinos, cannot go online and suffer from the shutdown of the venues. In a pandemic, the real money gambling industry is growing rapidly because people stay at home in isolation and spend a lot of time on the Internet to have fun. Many online casinos have noticed an increase in the number of customers and therefore try to work perfectly to support the gambling business in such a difficult time.

Almost every single industry in the world is coronavirus affected. One of the countries at the epicenter of the pandemic right now is in the UK. The country announced the full lockdown and introduced quite severe quarantine measures for the citizens at the beginning of the week. Most of the businesses, such as bars and casinos have been shut down for at least a 3 week period. Everyone is struggling for the sake of beating the virus. Difficult times have come, people are not allowed to leave their homes and are isolated. Many businesses like casinos suffer from the shutdown of the venues. The real money gambling industry is slowly sinking.

As mentioned before the UK, one of the leading European countries has introduced severe measures to fight the virus outbreak. The government of the country decided to shut down all non-essential businesses and urges everyone to stay at home unless there is a necessity to go out. All businesses are affected, especially the small businesses that suffer the most. They now need a helping hand in order to survive the crisis and to maintain a livelihood.

Certain steps in terms of assisting businesses have been made by the governments and the city councils. The Manchester City Council took the decision to free the businesses from the taxes for the next two month period, until June. The banks will also drop any direct submission requirements for the debits until April or May. Certain small businesses will also receive a discount on the debits.

The discussion regarding special payment plans for the 2020/2021 has already started. The payment rates will be split over the nine months from July to March next year. Some more changes are to be approved.

The companies and firms are requested to pay out their employees their salaries or at least address banks for financial help, as well as the other means of support. The businesses will need some time for recovery. Up until the moment the central government introduces the general action plan, the local governments are ready to offer any assistance for the businesses and retails. The statement was announced by the Manchester Council’s executive member for Finance and Human Resources Coun Carl Ollerhead.
