Plant Blends, a leading brand in the North West’s açaí movement, is set to open a new site on Deansgate this month, bringing its elevated, handcrafted approach to açaí and superfood dining to the heart of the city.
Founded in 2020 by Malia and Hope, Plant Blends began as a passion-led concept in Hale before quickly building momentum across the region, with locations in Wilmslow and the Trafford Centre following soon after.

In just a few years, the brand has grown into one of the North West’s most recognisable wellness names, known for its distinctive aesthetic, loyal community and high-profile following, including names such as Bruno Fernandes and Molly-Mae Hague.
Now though, it’s Deansgate’s turn to get a taste of the homegrown brand that redefined the North West’s superfood scene.
Designed as a calm escape from the pace of the city, the Deansgate store continues Plant Blends’ signature aesthetic: soft, natural materials, warm tones and a focus on wellbeing-led design. More than just a place to eat, it reflects the brand’s wider vision, blending nutrition, lifestyle and community into one cohesive experience.
Since its founding, Plant Blends has evolved from a passion-led concept into one of the region’s most sought-after wellness brands. Vibrant, fresh, and with no added nasties, every dish on the Plant Blends menu is crafted exactly as nature intended. The aim? To redefine healthy eating and make it appealing to all.
The new store, opening in April 2026, will offer its signature menu of handcrafted açaí bowls, smoothies and superfood-led dishes, all rooted in the same founding philosophy: fresh, from scratch, and uncompromising in quality.
Every açaí base is made in-house and prepared fresh daily using only real fruit, a considered alternative to the pre-prepared or imported blends widely used across the market. The result is a cleaner, more vibrant flavour profile that reflects the brand’s focus on quality, provenance and precision.
Bowls on offer at the new Deansgate site will include their best-selling açaí, as well as a selection of vibrant specials, such as:
Pink Pitaya – a dragon fruit blend topped with granola, strawberry, mango, pineapple, kiwi, raspberry, passionfruit and agave
Blue Island – a blue spirulina blend layered with granola, banana, strawberry, raspberry, mango, pineapple, coconut flakes and agave.
All bowls can be fully customised, including with a variety of delicious nut butters.
“We’ve always taken a slower, more intentional approach,” say Malia and Hope. “From the beginning, it was about creating something that felt elevated but still accessible, where every ingredient, every detail, is done properly. That’s what sets us apart.”
Alongside its food offering, the new site will introduce a curated drinks menu of functional smoothies, matcha, cold-pressed juices and the brand’s signature bullet coffees – as well as exclusive new creations unique to Deansgate, including iced matcha topped with pitaya cold foam.
“A city centre location has always been on the bucket list for us, so we’re thrilled to be bringing Plant Blends right into the heart of the city,” add the founders. “We’re aiming to set a new standard for superfood dining, giving guests an unforgettable experience and creating nutrient-dense, handcrafted food that fuels modern lifestyles without compromise. We’re shaping a future where fast food becomes truly nourishing.”
