The UK’s largest independent, late-night, boutique bowling alley, Lane7, is to launch its latest venue at Manchester’s Great Northern Warehouse this autumn.
The alley will occupy the former site of All-Star Lanes, overlooking the Great Northern Square.
“We’re delighted to add Lane7 and its boutique bowling and entertainment offering to the mix of exciting brands here at the Great Northern Warehouse.
We know that this brand of fun is something the city sorely misses after months of staying home to stay safe and we’re sure the venue will prove popular with all of our visitors, whether they’re dropping in for a game of bowling, to enjoy the atmosphere while catching up with friends or eager to try any of the other activities Lane7 will be home to.”

Alongside ten pin bowling, Lane7 Manchester will, like its sister sites around the UK, carry a whole host of other exciting gaming and entertainment options. The owners are staying tight-lipped on what guests in Manchester can expect, but at other sites, these include alternative takes on karaoke, pool, ping pong, shuffleboard, mini-golf, retro arcades and darts.
The new Manchester venue joins the roster of other Lane7 alleys, including its original home in Newcastle city centre and sites in Aberdeen, Middlesbrough, Birmingham, Liverpool, and Sheffield.
“It’s been a long term dream for us to find a city-centre site in Manchester and we can’t wait to get the doors open. We’re thrilled to be opening as part of the Great Northern Warehouse’s varied leisure offering and can’t wait to welcome guests onto the lanes very soon.”
