Actor Adam Thomas who’s currently starring in BBC One’s hit school-based series ‘Waterloo Road’ which is currently airing on BBC One every Tuesday evening at 8pm, today visited his former secondary school Kingsway in the outskirts of Manchester.

Showing young aspiring performers of Kingsway how to harness their acting skills to form it into a career, Adam Thomas livened up their Friday mornings with an inspiring talk about how he got from school plays to auditions, his top tips for conquering nerves and advice on how to break into the industry.

Just this month Adam Thomas also made a return to another important school in his life in BBC One’s hit series Waterloo Road where he reprised his role of Donte Charles alongside co-star Katie Griffiths who plays his on-screen wife Chlo.

The new series reborn for 2023, also starring Angela Griffin and Kym Marsh, explores real life issues affecting young teens and families today including the cost of living, teen homelessness, racism, being LGBTQ+ and mental health to name a few while also being an upbeat entertaining drama full of comedy, friendship and romance.
