King Charles III Coronation will take place on Saturday 6 May at Westminster Abbey in a service conducted by Justin Welby the Archbishop of Canterbury

Charles III will be crowned alongside the Queen Consort.

The last Coronation was in June 1953 for Queen Elizabeth II

The event will reflect “the monarch’s role today and look towards the future, while being rooted in longstanding traditions and pageantry,” says Buckingham Palace
