Three men will appear in court tomorrow in connection with several keyless thefts of Range Rovers in Bury and across the border in to Lancashire.

Hamza Zeb aged 23 of Cateaton Street, Bury; Kacper Borowski aged 20 of Seddon Avenue, Radcliffe; and Mackenzie Charnock aged 19 of Garston Street, Bury have been charged with conspiracy to steal.

DS Rebecca Dickinson, of Bury’s Serious Acquisitive Crime Team, said: “We understand the impact vehicle theft has on our communities and that victims of this type of crime have often worked incredibly hard to enable themselves to buy vehicles, which are sometimes their pride and joy.

“These charges follow a lengthy and complexed investigation by officers in Bury, supported by a colleague from Lancashire Police.

“Building public trust and confidence is the foundations on which policing is built. This is reflected in our determination to investigate and solve crime by working with partner agencies to respond to intelligence gathered both proactively and as a result of contact with members of the public.”
