Two teenagers have been charged with rape after an eighteen year old woman was raped at an address in the Aspull area of the town in the early hours of April 18th
A 16-year-old boy from Essex – and who cannot be named for legal reasons – was charged with the rape of the 18-year-old.
He appeared at Wigan and Leigh Magistrates’ Court on Saturday 23 April and has been remanded in custody to appear at Bolton Crown Court on Monday 30 May.
A 17-year-old boy from Bedfordshire – who also cannot be named for legal reasons – has been charged with rape and is appearing today (Tuesday 26 April) at Wigan and Leigh Magistrates’ Court.
