Holcombe Tap, based in the Greater Manchester town of Ramsbottom, are proud to announce that for every drink sold the week beginning May 17th, 10p will be donated to NHS charities.
Not only is the family run business making the generous pledge to the NHS, they will also be offering guests the chance to win a £100 experience at the bar and restaurant.
Owned by father and son, Bill and Will Gallie, Holcombe Tap is located in the heart of vibrant town Ramsbottom, just a stone’s throw away from the hectic city life of Manchester. Opening their doors back in 2018, Bill and Will have built up a loyal customer base and are excited to welcome back faces and old and new through their doors on May 17th.
To reward their guests for sticking by the pub throughout the hard times of the past year, Holcombe Tap are treating one lucky visitor and their friends or family to a tab worth £100. The competition began, with the winner announced on the morning of May 17th.
As well as thanking their customers, Bill and Will want to demonstrate how much they appreciate the dedication and sacrifices made by the NHS throughout the past twelve months.
The team have pledged that for every drink sold the week of indoor service reopening, 10p will be donated to NHS charities as their way of thanking the incredible staff who have worked tirelessly since the coronavirus outbreak.
Will Gallie, owner of Holcombe Tap, said, “We cannot wait to welcome customers, old and new, through our doors and enjoy our freshly cooked food and lively atmosphere.
When we reopened outside a few weeks back, we sold over 4000 drinks in the opening week, meaning based on our 10p per drink pledge we would have donated over £400. However, when we open inside, we will have even more tables to seat more customers – so we can’t wait to see how much we are going to be giving to the NHS charities – they deserve it!
It has been such a tough year for everyone, and our industry has struggled immensely, yet the response from the public has been overwhelming.
