A 66-year-old man was taken to hospital with a serious head injury, where he remains in a stable condition after being hit by a bus in Cheetham Hill yesterday afternoon.
Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision,which took place on Cheetham Hill Road around 3.40,has information or dashcam footage to make contact.
Constable Marc Williams of GMP’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit said: “Our thoughts are with the man as he remains in hospital following this incident.
“This occurred in daylight at a busy time of day on one of Manchester’s main arterial roads. As such, we’re confident there will be witnesses who can help us piece together the circumstances of the collision.
