A taxi driver has taken to hospital, where he remains with serious injuries after a collision with a bus late last night in Ashton-under-Lyne.
The Renault Transit and a Stagecoach double decker collided at the junction of Henrietta Street and Albion Way around 11.30. Neither the taxi or bus were carrying passengers.
The driver of the bus is assisting officers with their enquiries.
Officers are particularly keen to speak to anyone who has dash cam or mobile phone footage from the area in the moments before the collision.
