If you have ever fancied your chances as an opera star, then an event running in Davyhulme this month maybe for you.
Operaseria is launching Viva Verdi Come and sing on the 22nd February, with the chance for members of the public to sing along with the cast and principal soloists to favourite choruses from two of Verdi’s much-loved operas: La Traviata and Aida.
Registration for the event, which will cost £18, is at the halls of Christ Church from 10:00am, and singing will begin at 10:30am. Coffee and tea will be provided in the morning, with sandwiches provided at lunch time .
The day will culminate in a performance of everything that has been rehearsed during the day, starting at 7:30pm in the main church Entry to the concert for audience will be by donation.
