A 57 year old man has been left with life-changing injuries after being hit by a lorry early this morning on the M60
The man is understood to have got out of his car on the side of the motorway in the moments before the collision.
He was taken to hospital with life-changing injuries and is in a serious condition as he continues to receive treatment.
The driver of the lorry remained at the scene and is assisting our Serious Collision Investigation Unit with their investigation.
