Foresight Group a leading regional private equity and real assets manager, has announced a £3.0 million investment into Federal Holdings Ltd a contemporary café group focused on the high growth brunch segment.
Founded in 2014 by Claudio Ribeiro, the Company offers high-quality food in a relaxed, informal atmosphere. It operates three sites in Manchester and one site, that opened in December 2025 with the creation of 15 jobs, in Leeds.
Federal has a significant opportunity to expand by accelerating its site rollout and replicating its successful offering and operating model. Foresight’s experience in successful hospitality rollouts including Mowgli, 200 Degrees Coffee and Roxy Leisure, will help the Company unlock its growth potential to deliver 18 sites by 2030resulting in the creation of up to 250 jobs.
In addition, Foresight has appointed Karen Jones as Chairperson to support the management team. Karen brings a wealth of hospitality experience from her extensive executive and non-executive experience with Café Rouge, Frontier Pubs, Hawksmoor, Deliveroo, Whitbread and Mowgli.
