A man will appear before Manchester Magistrates Court tomorrow charged with an attempted rape in Droylsden
Kevin Lee Martin,39 of no fixed abode,has been remanded in custody before his appearance tomorrow
The victim in her late teens was attacked last Sunday while walking through the wooded area on Sunnybank Vale, Droylsden, near to Greenside Lane.
Police attended and enquiries established that, at around 2.45pm, the female had been walking through a wooded area of Sunnybank Vale when she was assaulted by a man.
She fought back and the man subsequently fled the scene.
