A 37-year-old man had been stabbed multiple times during an altercation outside the pub in Middleton and is hospital where he remains in stable condition requiring surgery.
Jordan Darcy aged 22 of Newton Crescent, Middleton has been charged in connection with the incident.
He has been charged with assault – wounding with intent and has been remanded into custody ahead of an appearance at Manchester and Salford Magistratess Court on 22 February 2022.
Detectives are appealing for anyone with information or video footage of the incident which took place on Kemp Street, to get in touch with police.
