A 28 year old man from Oldham will appear in court today charged with the rape of a woamn in Ashton under Lyne last month
Amir Sultani of Villa Road,will appear at Tameside Magistrates today
The charges relate to an incident on Saturday 11 September when after leaving a pub on Old Street, Ashton-Under-Lyne a woman was approached by a man who escorted her to a vehicle. She was then subsequently raped. She is now being supported by specially trained officers and detectives are investigating the case.
