A 23-year-old man has died from injuries sustained in a motorcycle smash on Edge Lane in Droylsden
Two men, aged 22 and 23, sustained serious injuries and both were taken to hospital when a Yamaha motorbike collided with a Polo VW car in the early hours of Saturday morning
The 22-year-old man remains in a stable condition
Police Sergeant Neil Pennington of GMP’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: “This is a tragic incident in which a man has sadly lost his life. Our thoughts are with his family at this incredibly distressing time and we wish a full recovery for the 22-year-old who is still in hospital.
“This collision happened in a residential area, so we are hopeful that people will have witnessed the collision and may have dash cam footage or CCTV footage of the incident.
“If you have any information at all about this collision please contact police as soon as possible.”
