A thirty nine year old man will appear in court today relating to a number of exposure incidents that allegedly took place in the underpass beneath Mancunian Way between November 2023 and April 2024.
Robert Emmerson of Fernbank Drive, Manchester has been charged with Five counts of sexual assault and Three counts of indecent exposure.
Detective Constable Tamsyn Muller from our City of Manchester district said: “I would like to praise the people who have assisted with our investigation and those who shared our appeal.
“These alleged incidents have caused understandable distress and concern in the area, and I hope these charges bring some reassurance to the community.
