A 22-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of burglary, dangerous driving, driving whilst disqualified and failing to stop after a pursuit across Greater Manchester
The vehicle, reported stolen earlier that morning from Lancashire and fitted with false plates, was identified by officers after an ANPR activation in Salford on Thursday
The driver failed to stop and police safely directed the vehicle away from the city centre before deploying tactical measures on Wilmslow Road to bring it to a stop.
The driver attempted to flee on foot but was detained after a short chase.
