A young girl has young girl has taken to hospital with serious injuries after being hit by a vehicle in Bolton yesterday afternoon police have announced
The incident happened on Moss Bank Way, Bolton around 3.30pm
The driver remained at the scene and he is continuing to assist police with enquiries.
No arrests have been made at this time.
The road was closed in both directions between Smithills Dean Road and Blackburn Road following the accident
Officers are now appealing for witnesses or anyone who may have footage of the incident – including CCTV or dashcam – to please get in touch.
