A woman in her 80s has been left with serious injuries following a road traffic collision between a car and a pedestrian on Upholland Road in Wigan this morning
A Volkswagen Up was travelling along Upholland Road in Billinge, and as the car passed the junction with Cross Lane, it collided with a pedestrian crossing the road
No arrests have been made and the driver of the Volkswagen stayed at the scene.
GMP’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) are now appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward.
