Lady Boys of Bangkok: 24th June – 3rd July

Lady Boys of Bangkok returns to Manchester with its NEW production launching at Trafford Centre. With its purpose built pink Sabai theatre tent and foyer seating for over 400 guests, at tables of up to 8 people, complete with two fully stocked bars and authentic Thai street food being served from the foyer – Lady Boys of Bangkok is where West End theatre meets Hollywood every night of the year.

Featuring a cast of 16 male Thai nationals, this incredible fast-moving large-scale production is full of laughs, and filled with heaps of sequin-spangled sassiness. All your biggest party and floor-filling hits performed by incredible showbiz divas and singing superstars live on stage in a 90-minute theatrically choreographed show.

Women’s EURO 2022 Roadshow: 30th, 31st May and 1st June

UEFA Women’s EURO 2022 recently announced plans for its FREE national roadshow that will showcase the best of football, fitness, and music, providing families, fans and those that are yet to experience football with the opportunity to get involved in an unmissable tournament.

The family and local community-focused roadshow will travel 800 miles, making 10 stops across 43 days, arriving at Manchester’s Trafford Centre on 30, 31 and 1 June and finishing on 2 July in London – just a few days before the tournament’s opening match at Old Trafford. As the Women’s EURO draws closer, organisers are aiming to inspire more communities, particularly young people, and families. Head down to Trafford Centre for a day full of fun and sporting entertainment.

Adrenaline Escape Room: open until 13th June

Head to Trafford Centre for the ultimate afternoon of fun – you and your team will be locked in an immersive escape room. Find clues, crack codes, and solve puzzles to progress through the game. Use your team’s strengths, skills, and communication to uncover the room’s secrets. You have 60 minutes to escape your room – the quickest times will be ranked on the leader board. The clock is ticking. Can you escape!?

Manchester Jazz Festival: 6th – 29th May

Manchester Jazz Festival and Forsyth’s music shop are on the hunt for Manchester’s most entertaining street pianist, as a trail of 13 street pianos will be placed across the city this week, with one of those being at Trafford Centre. From May 6 – 29, the MJF piano trail will see pianos dotted throughout Manchester available for all passers-by to play.

A competition to find Manchester’s best street pianists will also run with a whole raft of prizes up for grabs, including a Yamaha P-45B piano, return ticket for four people anywhere on the Northern Rail Network, a gift package, and vouchers worth over £100 from Quayside Media City UK and a £30 Wagamama voucher for each prize winner.

To be in with a chance to be named one of Manchester’s best street pianists, simply find one of the pianos in the trail, capture a short video of your performance and post the video to your Instagram, Facebook or Twitter account, tagging in @manchesterjazzfestival / @manjazzfest and using the hashtag #mjfpianotrail

SPRING ESCAPE: 25th April – 5th June

It is announced that the vintage funfair is staying open until 5th June (weekends only) this spring/summer season bringing fun for all ages from tiny tots to thrill-seekers, including a log flume, waveswinger, teacups, bumper cars, hook a duck, a fun house, bungee trampolines, and more entertainment.
