A weather warning for Thursday and possibly for Friday has been issued this morning which could see winds of 50-60 miles per hour hitting the region
The storm which is likely to be named as storm Gerritt could hit overnight on Wednesday and into Thursday from the North West, though the exact timings are not yet known and the storm could extend into Friday according to forecasters
