Two men, aged 25 and 31, have been arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent to cause GBH after a disturbance in Wythenshawe yesterday afternoon

Reports say there was a fight  between two groups of people on Floatshall Road which also saw a car used to attack someone during the incident, which saw five people receive injuries.

Detective Sergeant Craig Barry, from GMP’s Manchester CID, said: “Violence like this has no place in our community. It is shocking that some people would fight like this in broad daylight on a busy residential street – something that law-abiding locals should never have to put up with.

“We are asking for anyone with information to please get in touch as we continue with our investigation – this includes any witnesses who may have seen the incident, or anyone with footage from around the time it happened.”
