TUI (formerly Thomson) the UK’s largest holiday brand, has today announced it has added an additional weekly flight to the popular Turkish destinations of Antalya and Dalaman for summer 2018 operating out of Manchester Airport.

Holidaymakers from the North West will now have even more choice when it comes to booking a holiday to Turkey with TUI adding a Monday flight to Antalya and a Sunday flight to Dalaman.

Flights start in May 2018 and means TUI will now operate five times a week to both Antalya and Dalaman.

The decision to add more flights is part of the holiday company’s plans to offer as much choice as possible, ensuring customers across the UK can fly from their local airport and stay at the best hotels such as the 5T TUI Sensatori Resort Sorgun, Antalya and the 4T TUI Family Life Tropical Resort, Dalaman.

As well as additional flights to Turkey residents from in and around the North West now have a wide choice of destinations to choose from when booking their holidays this summer with new routes to Podgorica in Montenegro and Varna in Bulgaria already on sale.

Karen Switzer, Director of Aviation Planning for TUI UK & Ireland, said: “We are delighted to be expanding our programme from Manchester Airport for summer 2018. We have added an extra flight a week to both Antalya and Dalaman meaning we now fly 10 times a week to Turkey this summer. In total we have over 60 destinations for customers to choose from when booking their holidays from Manchester Airport. Holidaymakers in the North West will now have wider access than ever before to our diverse collection of destinations and hotel concepts.”

Stephen Turner, Commercial Director for Manchester Airport, said: “It’s great to see TUI adding extra flights to Turkey for Summer 18. We know Antalya and Dalaman are both hugely popular destinations with our passengers and the additional frequency will provide them with even greater choice for their summer holidays.”
