Ayyub Patel has been elected as Rumworth’s newest councillor at yesterday’s by-election in Bolton
Ayyub secured 54% of the vote against Ismail Patel of Labour in a ward in which has always been considered Labour’s safest seat.
The by election was held after Labour councillor, Ebrahim Adia stepped down due to career commitments.
