Police are currently investigating three robberies at a Morrisons Daily store, Albert  Royds Street, Rochdale that have occurred between the 13 and 23 November.

The first robbery occurred on Saturday 13 November at around 6.40pm when two males, one armed with an axe, entered the store and demanded staff empty a till of money.

Then men fled on foot with cash from the till in the direction of Halifax Road.

The second robbery occurred at around 7.50pm on Wednesday 17 November when a man, wearing a mask and hood and armed with an axe, entered the store before fleeing with cash from a till and scratch cards.

The final robbery occurred a few days later on Tuesday 23 November at around 7.05pm when a male, armed with an axe, entered the same store and demanded money from a till.

He fled the scene with cash in the direction of Samson Street.

Thankfully no one sustained any injuries during the robberies.

Detectives believe these incidents to be linked and have issued images of two men they would like to speak to in connection with the robberies.
