Three Conservative councillors including the Deputy leader in Oldham have been suspended by the party after they attended the Pro-Palestine march in London on Armistice day.
Kamran Ghafoor, Muhammad Irfan and Abdul Wahid all represent the Hollinwood ward.
A party spokesperson said they’ve been suspended ‘pending an investigation into alleged incidents during and after the march’
All three councillors were elected in Hollinwood at May’s all out elections.
The suspensions mean that the Lib Dems are now the official opposition on the council
