Three men have been arrested this morning on suspicion of rape of a child as part of Operation Sherwood, a complex and wide-ranging investigation into CSE in Oldham over a decade ago.
The offences are alleged to have occurred in Oldham between 2011-2014
A man – aged 51 was arrested in Oldham on suspicion of rape of a child while a further two men aged 33 and 52 were arrested at addresses in Longsight and Salford also on suspicion of rape of a child.
