Three people will appear in court today following a spate of robberies and violence earlier this month in Manchester and Salford.

The charges concern the theft of a car in Salford on Wednesday 15 May, a robbery at a mobile phone shop in Strangeways in which a man was stabbed on Saturday 18 May and an attempted robbery in Cheetham Hill on the same date.

Tyrone Breeze aged 26 of Elysian Gardens, Salford has been charged with assault, robbery, two counts of attempted robbery, possession of an offensive weapon, theft of a motor vehicle and theft from a motor vehicle.

Prince Moyo aged 19 of Strawberry Road, Salford has been charged with robbery, two counts of attempted robbery, theft of a motor vehicle and possession of an offensive weapon.

A 17-year-old boy,who cannot be named for legal reasons,has been charged with robbery, two counts of attempted robbery, theft of a motor vehicle and possession of an offensive weapon.

They will appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates’ court today.
