Three people have been charged following a protest outside a south Manchester hotel believed to be housing asylum seekers at the weekend.
A dispersal order was put in place in the area around the hotel on Wilmslow Road on Sunday.
Eight people were arrested
Azeez Ibrahim Akin Kunmi 28 , of no fixed abode, has been charged with indecent exposure. He has been remanded to appear at Stockport Magistrates’ Court today
Robert Wood 37 , of St Mary’s Road, Manchester has been charged with theft of a police hat and bailed for a future hearing.
Karl Haydock 35 of Norcross Close, Offerton, has been charged with assaulting an emergency worker and racially aggravated harassment.
He has been remanded to appear at Stockport Magistrates’ Court today.
Four other people who were arrested have been bailed with conditions.
A woman who was arrested has since been released facing no further action.
