Three men aged 21, 22, and 25 were arrested, with a quantity of Class A drugs, several phones, and a machete seized in raids across the Manchester area

The trio were each arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to supply Class A drugs and conspiracy to supply Class B drugs.

Additionally, the 22 year old was arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm and on suspicion of aggravated burglary, in connection with separate investigations.

The warrants were part of a long-term proactive investigation, focusing on the supply of Class A drugs in and around the South Manchester area.

The three arrested individuals remain in custody for questioning.

Detective Inspector Kat McKeown, from GMP’s Xcalibur task force, said: “Our dedicated anti-gang team executed the warrants this morning in connection with an ongoing investigation into drugs supply in the Manchester area.

“This work has been several months in the making and I am glad that we have secured three arrests and made significant disruption to those we suspect of being involved in drugs supply.

“We want to show the public that we are committed to tackling organised crime and will utilise all resources available where necessary as part of that.”
