Lancashire Cricket’s Family Festival returns to Emirates Old Trafford this Sunday 8 June, as Lancashire Lightning take on Northants Steelbacks in the Vitality Blast at 1.00pm.
Lancashire Lightning have made a flying start to their North Group campaign and currently sit top of the table with three wins from four matches, including two victories at Emirates Old Trafford.
The Club’s T20 Family Festival returns this Sunday and is set to be another great day out for the entire family. It’s cricket at its best with big hits and flying catches plus live music, free kids cricket games to keep the little ones busy, street food and drink stalls, circus acts, face painting and more.
Supporters attending matches can look forward to more than just cricket. The Fan Village at Emirates Old Trafford offers a vibrant atmosphere with a variety of food stalls, summer bars, live music, DJs, and interactive games for children, ensuring a memorable experience for all ages.
There’s also the chance to win two return flights to Dubai, with the Emirates First Ball Flyer, all you must do is be in your seat and hope that Lancashire Lightning take a wicket with their first ball of the match to be in with your chance of winning.
Following the match, Lancashire’s stars will make their way to the front of Lightning Stand C to sign autographs and pose for selfies with fans.
After winning the Indian Premier League for the first time on Tuesday with Royal Challengers Bangalore, Lancashire and England all-rounder Liam Livingstone is expected to make his return to action for Lightning against the Steelbacks on Sunday afternoon.
Livingstone said: “I am really excited to play in this summer’s Vitality Blast with Lancashire Lightning – I love playing at Emirates Old Trafford and I love playing for Lancashire.
“This year I will have even more opportunities to play for the red rose throughout the Blast campaign, we’ve got a really strong squad, and we have a proud record, particularly at home, in the group stages.
“Hopefully I can have a big involvement in us doing something special as a team in T20 cricket this year, ten years on from 2015 it would be really nice to go on and win another.”
Tickets for all of Lancashire Lightning’s four remaining home matches in the Vitality Blast are now available, with advance pricing offering a £5 discount on adult tickets purchased before matchday.
