The Warehouse Project is set to take over the former yard of the Rotterdamsche Droogdok Maatschappij (RDM) in Rotterdam for its first ever international destination on Friday 28th April until Sunday 30th April (Early May Bank Holiday).
Having similarities to the home of The Warehouse Project in Manchester, Rotterdam is the Dutch capital’s sister city with a rich industrial past and shares a great synergy with Manchester for its notable dance music culture.
The city has been dubbed as the next European capital of cool* and is famous as an international hub for sustainable innovation and cutting-edge design. Further to its striking architecture, Rotterdam boasts unique and attractive offerings across the board, including for foodies, party-goers, city-breakers and beyond.
Celebrating Rotterdam and showcasing the best of The Warehouse Project on international ground, the Rotterdam weekender will see a number of local collaborations throughout the event. A very special ‘Welcome to Rotterdam’ boat-party featuring the best of Rotterdam will be presented by much-loved local promoters, 360 Degrees, who also run the acclaimed multi-purpose venue, BIRD.
The boat-parties will run ahead of the main event on Friday 28th April and Saturday 29th April with limited tickets available. Featuring exclusive DJ sets in a unique setting as the boats make their journey from the city centre, sailing down the River Nieuwe Maas and finishing at the RDM for the main event.
Taking over the after-party, The Warehouse Project has collaborated with Rotterdam’s underground house and techno promoters, TOFFLER. The after-party will push boundaries and keep the dance floor in full swing until the sun rises with some special sets from the likes of Skream, Mall Grab and Enzo Siragusa in an intimate venue.
Furthermore, new acts have been added to the main weekender’s line-up in RDM – including two of Rotterdam’s hottest prospects Nala Brown and Charmaine, plus a special b2b DJ set from Mall Grab and Effy. The second wave of line-up is announced below.
With accessibility and sustainability in mind, Rotterdam is easily accessible from the UK with direct travel options by trains, ferries and coaches – from Manchester, Leeds, Newcastle, Birmingham, London and more. For getting in and around Rotterdam during the weekend, the RDM is easily accessible by public transport and water taxi. A WHP Rotterdam shuttle bus and water taxi ticket will also be available and announced soon.
For boat-party and after-party, pre-sale will be available to ticket holders from 10AM on Friday 27th January. And general sale will be live from 10AM on Monday 30th January.
Tier 1 tickets for The Warehouse Project Rotterdam are priced at £150 with payment plans and deposit schemes available. Full weekend tickets with accommodation also available from £299.
