Manchester’s iconic hotel, The Midland, has partnered with award-winning chef, Adam Reid, to launch its brand-new private hire and events offering – EVENTS by Adam Reid at The Midland.
This exciting new concept features the perfect marriage of restaurant quality food in an event setting inspired by Adam’s unique approach to northern hospitality and cooking.
Separate to Adam Reid at The French, the award-winning restaurant situated off the hotel’s lounge bar, EVENTS by Adam Reid at The Midland is designed to cater to larger groups, whether it’s for high-profile corporate networking events to personalised occasions for friends and family and offers a bespoke version of Adam’s Northern food style alongside The Midland’s expertise to offer a unique, premium hospitality experience.
EVENTS by Adam Reid at The Midland offers curated menus perfect for a wide range of event settings. Guests can opt for the “A Little Bit of Something Fancy” menu, a refined yet casual selection of bite-sized canapés designed for pre-dinner receptions and networking occasions, starting from £30 per person. Options include savoury snacks, from fish pie to meat and potato, as well as mouthwatering sweet treats, including treacle sponge and rum truffle.
For those seeking something heartier but still informal, “The Picky Tea” option draws inspiration from the comforting tradition of northern buffet-style dining, featuring a spread of finger foods and bowl dishes that can be served as a standing buffet or in a seated format, with prices starting from £45 per person. Guests can graze from a wide selection of savoury delights including malt loaf & beef butter, fried potato with cream, cheesy toast with walnut ketchup and fish paste crumpet.
For a more traditional dining experience, “The Family Dinner” menu option provides a more formal, sit-down meal with a starter, main dish and dessert, all accompanied by a wide range of indulgent, family-style sides, evoking the feeling of a nostalgic Sunday dinner with loved ones, priced from £75 per person.
Events will be held in The Midland’s grand Mount Street Dining Room & Bar, which can host up to 150 guests for standing receptions, making it ideal for lively networking events and social gatherings, while seated dining arrangements can accommodate up to 80 guests, ensuring an intimate and personalised atmosphere for more formal occasions.
Every event is meticulously planned to meet guests’ needs, with customisable menu options and an expert team ensuring a seamless execution from start to finish. Bespoke banqueting can also be offered for up to 600 in other spaces within The Midland hotel if required.
