The Green Lab has announced it is launching Manchester’s first infrared pilates studio, joining its already-popular Health Lab studio. This exciting addition is set to open next week, ready to be enjoyed alongside their refreshing new summer menu.

The new infrared pilates studio, located on the first floor, uses unseen infrared light that penetrates the skin to heat the body’s core. As the therapeutic infrared light increases core body temperature, your body works to cool itself, and so your heart starts pumping faster and you begin to sweat more, helping to stimulate blood flow!

The combination of infrared light and pilates enhances muscle flexibility, reduces pain and inflammation, accelerates recovery, and boosts cardiovascular health, as well as promoting relaxation and improved sleep. The new studio will offer 50-minute infrared mat pilates and Barre classes, for guests to enjoy and leave feeling refreshed, rejuvenated and really sweaty!

In response to high demand, The Green Lab’s Health Lab is expanding with the introduction of a second reformer studio, which will be running up an extra 8 reformer classes daily, 7 days a week from 6:30am. Each reformer pilates class is 45 minutes with four variations to choose from including: The Reform Lab, The Tone Lab, The Jump Lab and The Restore Lab*.

The popular pilates spot is now home to two reformer studios offering 10 boards per class, allowing for that intimate fitness class feel. Plus, those looking to enhance their pilates skills can book into the new one-on-one Reformer Room which offers personalised sessions with tailored instruction that aims to refine techniques.

On top of these exciting new additions to the space, The Green Lab has launched a brand new menu, curated by its in-house nutritionist, including the new Matcha Lab with Iced Matcha options in Mango, Strawberry, or Pineapple flavours. The new menu features mouth-watering items such as the Falawaffle (a falafel waffle with lemon & ginger hummus, chopped salad, za’atar croutons, and gold amba yogurt); the Golden Turkish Eggs (Poached Eggs, Gold Amba Yoghurt, Chilli & Paprika Oil, Pistachio Dukkah, Carrot & Radish Salad. Served With Turmeric Pitta); and Elvis Pancakes (with almond butter, raspberry chia jam, and crisp banana).

To celebrate the launch, The Health Lab is reintroducing its Dirty Thirty Summer Challenge, inviting participants to complete 30 classes in 30 days. Entry costs £155, offering access to 30 classes throughout the month, making each class just £5.17. Participants who complete the challenge will be entered into a prize draw to win fantastic prizes, including an unlimited three-month membership, a Health Lab Tote filled with goodies worth £100, a £50 Selfridges voucher, and brunch for two at The Green Lab.**

Kanika Banga, Director of The Green Lab and The Health Lab, commented: “We’re really looking forward to welcoming some new and old faces into the new studios. The brand’s expansion has been a long time in the making, and we can’t wait for Manchester to experience the benefits of its first infrared studio and feel AMAZING.”
